Tableau by Anwer Solangi

Terms & Conditions

Effective: May 1, 2026  ·  Last updated: May 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, registering for, or using any part of the Tableau suite — including the Admin Mobile App, Admin Web Panel, or Customer Web Menu — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Anwer Solangi, an independent developer based in Karachi, Pakistan ("I", "me", or "my"). These Terms apply to all users of the Tableau suite regardless of the platform through which you access it.

Restaurant customers who use the Customer Web Menu by scanning a QR code are also subject to these Terms to the extent applicable, though no account or registration is required for that use.

Note: These Terms do not constitute legal advice and do not replace professional legal counsel. If you have questions about your legal obligations, consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.

Who I Am

Tableau is designed, developed, and operated by Anwer Solangi, an individual independent software developer based in Karachi, Pakistan. I am not a registered company. I operate under my personal name for all development, licensing, and support activities related to the Tableau suite.

You can reach me at me@anwersolangi.com and view my portfolio at anwersolangi.com. These Terms and the Privacy Policy together govern your use of all Tableau services.

The Services

The "Tableau suite" or "Services" refers collectively to:

  • Admin Mobile App — A React Native mobile application for restaurant owners and staff to manage orders, menus, tables, staff, promotions, and analytics. Available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • Admin Web Panel — A Next.js web application at a hosted URL, providing a desktop-optimised management dashboard, kitchen display mode, and QR sheet printing.
  • Customer Web Menu — A Next.js web application accessed by restaurant customers via a QR code scan, providing a digital menu, cart, ordering, and live order status.
  • Documentation — Setup guides, configuration references, and technical documentation published at tableau.anwersolangi.com.

The Tableau source code is also separately available for purchase on CodeCanyon. The terms applicable to that purchase are detailed in the section below.

Accounts & Registration

Creating an Account

Restaurant owners and staff must create an account to use the Admin Mobile App and Admin Web Panel. You may register using an email address and password, or via Google Sign-In. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date.

Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must not share your owner account credentials with anyone, including staff — instead, invite staff members through the in-app Staff Management feature so they log in with their own accounts.
  • You must notify me immediately at me@anwersolangi.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • I am not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

Account Accuracy

You agree not to create an account using false information, impersonate another person, or create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes. I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false or misleading information.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Tableau suite only for its intended purposes — managing a legitimate food service business and providing a digital menu and ordering experience to your customers. The following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Using the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the Admin Mobile App or web applications (unless you have purchased the CodeCanyon source code license).
  • Uploading or transmitting content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Using the service to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, its servers, or the Firebase backend.
  • Using the service in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the infrastructure or interfere with other users.
  • Reselling access to the service as your own product without purchasing the appropriate CodeCanyon Extended License.
  • Using automated scripts, bots, or crawlers against the service without prior written permission.
  • Uploading menu item images or restaurant content that you do not own or have the right to use.

I reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if I believe, in my reasonable judgement, that you are in violation of this Acceptable Use Policy.

Subscriptions & Billing

Subscription Plans

Access to certain premium features of the Admin Mobile App is available through in-app subscriptions, managed and processed by RevenueCat via the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). The available plans, pricing, and features are displayed within the app and may change over time.

Billing & Payment

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, depending on the plan selected).
  • Payment is processed by Apple or Google through their respective app stores. I do not directly handle or store your payment card details.
  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You authorise the applicable app store to charge your registered payment method at the start of each billing cycle.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of the period for which you have paid.

Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Because subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

  • For iOS, refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's refund policy governs all iOS purchases.
  • For Android, refund requests must be submitted to Google Play within the window allowed by Google's Refund Policy. Requests after this window are handled at Google's discretion.
  • I have no ability to issue refunds for in-app purchases processed through either app store and cannot override store-level refund decisions.

Price Changes

I reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at your next renewal. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

Taxes

All subscription prices are displayed exclusive of any applicable taxes (GST, VAT, sales tax, etc.). Applicable taxes are determined and collected by Apple or Google in accordance with your location.

Free Tier & Advertising

The Admin Mobile App is available for free with access to core features. The free tier is supported by advertising delivered via Google AdMob. By using the free tier, you consent to the display of ads within the app.

AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA) and usage signals to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time via your device's advertising settings — see the Privacy Policy for instructions.

  • Ads are served by Google AdMob. The content of ads is controlled by Google's advertising network, not by me.
  • I am not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of any advertisements displayed.
  • Subscribing to a paid plan removes ads from the app.
  • I reserve the right to modify the ad frequency, placement, or ad partners at any time.

CodeCanyon Source Code License

The Tableau source code is available for purchase on CodeCanyon, an Envato marketplace. Purchases made through CodeCanyon are governed by both these Terms and the Envato Standard License or Envato Extended License, whichever you purchase. In the event of conflict, the Envato license terms take precedence for the CodeCanyon purchase itself.

Regular License

  • Grants you the right to use the source code to create a single end product for personal use or for a single client.
  • The end product may not be sold, sublicensed, or redistributed.
  • You may deploy the product for one restaurant or one client.
  • Suitable for: a developer setting up Tableau for their own restaurant or a single client restaurant.

Extended License

  • Grants you the right to use the source code in an end product that is sold or offered to end users.
  • Suitable for: agencies deploying Tableau for multiple restaurant clients, SaaS operators charging restaurants a monthly fee, or white-label resellers.
  • You may rebrand and customise the product for commercial deployment.
  • One Extended License is required per product/deployment, not per user.

What You May Not Do (Both Licenses)

  • Redistribute or re-sell the source code itself on any marketplace (including CodeCanyon or any other platform).
  • Claim authorship or ownership of the original Tableau codebase.
  • Remove copyright notices or attribution comments from the source code.
  • Use the Tableau name or my personal brand (Anwer Solangi) to imply endorsement of your product without written permission.

Support for CodeCanyon Purchases

CodeCanyon purchases include 6 months of item support as defined by Envato's support policy. Support covers: installation assistance, bug fixes in the original source code, and documentation clarification. Support does not cover: custom feature development, Firebase project management, App Store or Play Store submission assistance, or issues caused by modifications you have made to the source code.

No warranties on CodeCanyon source code: The source code is provided "as is". I make no guarantees about its fitness for any particular purpose beyond what is demonstrated in the item description and documentation. You are responsible for testing and validating the code before deploying it for any commercial purpose.

Intellectual Property

My Ownership

The Tableau suite — including all source code, design system, UI components, documentation, brand assets, and the Tableau name — is owned by Anwer Solangi. All rights are reserved except those expressly granted to you under these Terms or your CodeCanyon license.

Your use of the Tableau suite does not grant you any ownership interest in the software, brand, or intellectual property. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service as described in these Terms.

Your Licence to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

  • Download and install the Admin Mobile App on devices you own or control, for the purpose of managing your restaurant.
  • Access the Admin Web Panel via a supported browser for restaurant management purposes.
  • Allow your restaurant customers to access the Customer Web Menu via QR code scan.

This licence is automatically revoked upon termination of your account or breach of these Terms.

Third-Party Intellectual Property

The Tableau suite integrates third-party libraries, frameworks, and services (Firebase, Expo, React Native, Next.js, etc.). These remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their respective open-source or commercial licences. A list of major dependencies and their licences is available in the source code documentation.

Your Content & Data

Content You Create

"Your Content" means any information you create, upload, or manage through the Tableau suite, including restaurant names and descriptions, menu categories and items, food photography, pricing, staff information, promotional content, and operating hours.

You retain full ownership of Your Content. By uploading or inputting content into the Tableau suite, you grant me a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

Your Responsibility for Content

  • You are solely responsible for all content you upload or create within the service.
  • You must have the rights to use any images, logos, or other media you upload — you may not upload content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.
  • You must not upload content that is false, misleading, or illegal.
  • Menu pricing and descriptions must accurately reflect what you actually offer — false or misleading descriptions may violate consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

Order Data

Orders placed by your customers through the Customer Web Menu belong to your restaurant. I do not use your customers' order data for any purpose other than providing the Tableau service. Order data is stored in Firestore under your restaurant's isolated namespace and is not accessible to other restaurants or third parties beyond the processors described in the Privacy Policy.

Data Portability & Deletion

You may request an export of your restaurant data or account deletion at any time by contacting me at me@anwersolangi.com. Deletion will be completed within 30 days and will include your Firestore data and Firebase Auth account. Images stored on ImageKit must be manually deleted from your ImageKit dashboard.

Third-Party Services

The Tableau suite relies on the following third-party services. Your use of the suite constitutes your acknowledgement that these services operate under their own terms:

I am not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or practices of any third-party service. If a third-party service experiences an outage, changes its terms, or discontinues its service, this may affect the functionality of the Tableau suite. I will make reasonable efforts to address such impacts but make no guarantees of continuity.

Apple App Store users: In accordance with Apple's requirements, Apple is not a party to these Terms and bears no responsibility for the Tableau app or any claims relating to it. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's usage rules for licensed applications, Apple's rules take precedence.

Service Availability

I aim to keep the Tableau suite available and operational at all times, but I cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. The service may be unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance.
  • Outages or issues with third-party providers (Firebase, ImageKit, Vercel, etc.).
  • Force majeure events including natural disasters, power failures, or internet infrastructure outages.
  • Circumstances beyond my reasonable control.

As an independent individual developer, I do not offer any formal uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA). The service is provided on a best-efforts basis. For enterprise-level uptime requirements, the self-hosted CodeCanyon deployment may be more appropriate for your needs.

I reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible. I will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

Termination

Termination by You

You may close your account at any time by contacting me at me@anwersolangi.com. Upon account closure, your access to the Admin App and Admin Web Panel will be revoked. Active subscriptions will continue until the end of the current billing period — no refunds are provided for unused subscription time.

Termination by Me

I may suspend or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice or liability, if you:

  • Breach any provision of these Terms.
  • Use the service in a manner that causes harm to other users, third parties, or the infrastructure.
  • Provide false information during registration.
  • Engage in any fraudulent activity.
  • Fail to pay subscription fees when due.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your licence to use the service is immediately revoked. Your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for recovery requests, then permanently deleted. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law — will remain in effect.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Important — please read carefully. The following disclaimer limits my legal liability as an individual developer. It is written in plain English to be clear, not to obscure its meaning.

The Tableau suite is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
  • Warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any content within the service.
  • Warranties that the service will meet your specific business requirements.

In particular, I make no warranty that the Tableau suite will be suitable for use in a high-volume, mission-critical restaurant environment without additional testing and validation on your part. You use the service at your own risk.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties. If you are located in such a jurisdiction, some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I, Anwer Solangi, will not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, or goodwill.
  • Losses arising from service interruptions, data loss, or security breaches caused by third-party providers.
  • Losses resulting from your failure to maintain adequate account security.
  • Losses arising from your reliance on information or content displayed within the service.

In jurisdictions where the exclusion of consequential damages is not permitted, my total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to your use of the Tableau suite shall not exceed the greater of:

  • The total amount you have paid for subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
  • USD $100 (one hundred US dollars) if you have used only the free tier.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory under which a claim is brought (contract, tort, statute, or otherwise) and regardless of whether I have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Anwer Solangi from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your use of the service in a manner not permitted by these Terms.
  • Content you upload or create within the service, including claims that such content infringes the intellectual property or other rights of a third party.
  • Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
  • Any transactions, disputes, or claims arising between you and your restaurant customers.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.

Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants mandatory consumer rights, nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude the rights you are entitled to under the mandatory laws of your country of residence. In such cases, the applicable consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction will take precedence over the governing law clause above to the extent required by law.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal action, I encourage you to contact me directly at me@anwersolangi.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, business model, applicable law, or third-party service requirements. When I make material changes, I will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Where appropriate, notify registered users via push notification or email with reasonable advance notice.
  • For significant changes affecting your rights or obligations, seek renewed acceptance where technically feasible.

Your continued use of the Tableau suite after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the service and may close your account.
